Charlie
Kimball wins his first ever British F3 race
Charlie
Kimball secured victory in Sundays first British F3
race at Thruxton. The Carlin Motorsport driver was over the
moon. Its an amazing feeling, he said. To
do what I love to do and be the best in the race is just amazing.
Kimball
won with a comfortable lead ahead of Hitech Racings
Marko Asmer, who stormed into second position after starting
in sixth on the grid. Christian Bakkerud, team-mate of Kimball,
finished his race in third place.
Barton
Mawer won the race in the National Class, and it was a perfect
way to celebrate Russell Eacotts, team owner of T-Sport,
40th birthday today. Jonathan Kennard from Alan Docking Racing
was second, just a fraction ahead of Charlie Hollings (Promatecme),
who came third.
