Coloni Motorsport driver, Zsolt Baumgartner, is the new Jordan F1 tester, the prestigious Formula 1 team which lines up also Giancarlo Fisichella.

The Hungary’s Sport Minister, Mr. Janosi, announced the agreement today during a press-conference in Budapest together with Eddie Jordan, the Irish team boss.

Zsolt Baumgartner will have a primary role in the Jordan F1 Team: in occasion of the GPs of Germany and Hungary he will drive during the Friday morning test before the qualifying, a test fundamental in order to choose the right setup and tyres for the qualifying and race.

The agreement between Jordan F1 and Zsolt Baumgartner is a further demonstration –if still needed- of the value of the F.I.A. F.3000 International and confirms her as the first and best feeder category for the F.1, rewarding the job done by the Hungarian driver and the Italian team during the winter test and the first two races of the 2003 season.
